Geodesic raises $310 mln for maiden fund

Geodesic Investments has raised additional capital for its maiden late stage fund, according to a filing with the SEC.

Geodesic Capital Fund I has now raised $310 million toward a $400 million target, the filing says. The firm had raised $250 million of the total as of June 2015, an earlier filing shows.

The firm’s partners include Ashvin Bachireddy, a former partner at Andreessen Horowitz, and John Roos, a former ambassador to Japan and CEO at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati.
