AI Medical Service Inc., a Japanese developer of real-time endoscopic artificial intelligence, has raised about $42.9 million in Series B funding. The investors included Globis Capital Partners, World Innovation Lab and Sony Innovation Fund by IGV.
Mon Ami, which provides aging adults with visits from college students, has secured $3.4 million in seed funding. Freestyle Ventures and Cowboy Ventures led the round.

Forte Ventures and Sandbox Insurtech Ventures led the round with participation from other backers that included MassMutual Ventures.
Osaro Inc, a provider of machine learning software for industrial automation, has secured $16 million in Series B funding. The investors included King River Capital, Alpha Intelligence Capital, Founders Fund, Pegasus Tech Ventures and GiTV Fund.
Notion Capital has raised over $150 million for its fourth fund, according to a post on its site. Notion is a venture firm that invests in B2B SaaS companies in Europe.
Woburn, Massachusetts-based Frequency Therapeutics, a biotech firm, has raised about $84 million for its IPO after pricing its 6 million share at $14 per share. The stock began trading October 3, 2019 on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol "FREQ." J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs and Cowen are the lead underwriters. Frequency's pre-IPO backers include Perceptive Advisors.
Menlo Park, California-based Adicet Bio Inc, a biopharmaceutical company, has raised $80 million in Series B financing. The investors include aMoon2 Fund, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Johnson & Johnson Innovation – JJDC Inc, Samsung Venture Investment Corporation, OrbiMed, Novartis Venture Fund and Pontifax.
Seattle-based vaccines developer Icosavax has secured $52 million in Series A funding. Qiming Venture Partners USA led the round with participation from Adams Street Partners, Sanofi Ventures and NanoDimension.
