Burlingame, California-based Tesorio, a cash flow performance platform, has raised $10 million in Series A funding, according to a blog post on its site. Madrona Venture Group led the round with participation from other investors that included First Round Capital, Floodgate, Y Combinator, Fathom Capital and Fuel Capital.
San Francisco and Switzerland-based Bestmile, a fleet orchestration platform, has raised $16.5 million in Series B funding. Blue Lagoon Capital and TransLink Capital led the round.
Rainfall Ventures is seeking to raise $10 million for its debut fund, according to an SEC filing. Based in New York and Los Angeles, Rainfall is the rebrand of Vaizra Investments, operating since 2011.
Sunnyvale, California-based ThoughtSpot, a business intelligence platform, has secured $248 million in funding. The investors were Silver Lake Waterman, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Sapphire Ventures and Geodesic Capital.
Austin, Texas-based Cerberus Interactive, a game development studio, has secured $1.75 million in funding. The investors included MobilityWare and Steve Huffman, co-founder and CEO of Reddit.
Denver-based 3Lines Venture Capital has raised $5 million for its Rocket Fund. The target is $30 million. The fund will invest in early-stage, deep-tech companies in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, IoT, next-gen SaaS, virtualization platforms and services.
HiFiBiO Therapeutics, a biotherapeutics company, has secured $67 million in Series C financing. IDG Capital led the round.
Davis, California-based Advanced Farm Technologies, a developer of robotic farming equipment, has raised $7.5 million in Series A funding. Yamaha Motor Ventures & Laboratory Silicon Valley, the strategic business development and investment arm of Yamaha Motor Co Ltd, led the round with participation from Kubota Corporation, Catapult Ventures and Impact Venture Capital.
First Analysis has invested $4 million in SmartWitness. Based in Schaumberg, Illinois, SmartWitness is a video telematics solutions provider.
CrowdStrike Inc and Accel have launched Falcon Fund, a $20 million early-stage investment fund. The fund will focus on making seed and Series A investments in startups that are building applications on the CrowdStrike Falcon platform.
