Robotics company Canvas Technology has raised $15 million in Series A funding. Playground Global led the round with participation from other investors that included Xplorer Capital, AME Cloud Ventures and Morado Ventures.
Maana, a provider of digital knowledge technology, has secured $28 million in Series C funding. China International Capital Corporation and Eight Square Capital led the round with participation from other investors that included Accenture Ventures, Sino Capital, Intel Capital, GE Ventures, Chevron Technology Ventures, Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures and Shell Technology Ventures.
Fyusion, a 3D computer vision and machine learning company, has closed $22 million in Series B funding. The backers included New Enterprise Associates, Presence Capital and 2020.
Silicon Valley-based insulin delivery startup Bigfoot Biomedical has raised $37 million in funding. Janus Henderson Investors and Quadrant Capital Advisors led the round with participation from return backers Cormorant Asset Management, Senvest Capital Inc., Senvest Management LLC, Visionnaire Ventures, JDRF T1D Fund and T1D Exchange.
Farmcrowdy, a Nigerian digital agriculture platform, has secured $1 million in seed funding. The investors included Cox Enterprises, Techstars Ventures, Social Capital, Hallett Capital and Right-Side Capital.
San Francisco-based Stitch Health, a care coordination platform for healthcare teams, has raised an undisclosed amount of Series A funding, according to a blog post. Bill Gurley of Benchmark led the round with participation from Y Combinator.
San Francisco and India-based Springboard, a provider of online workforce upskilling, has secured $9.5 million in Series A funding. Costanoa Ventures led the round with participation from other investors that included Learn Capital, Blue Fog Capital, Rocketship.vc and Moneta Ventures.
Portland, Oregon-based Aunt Fannie’s, a provider of microbiomic cleaning and pest solutions for households, food service establishments and food manufacturers, has raised $2.375 million in funding. The lead investors were Monica Nassif, founder of Mrs. Meyer’s and Caldrea, David Charne, CEO of Fyrn, and Stuart Erickson, senior managing partner at Guggenheim Securities.
Quinyx, a Scandinavian provider of cloud-based software that helps businesses manage employee scheduling, communication, task-management and payroll integration, has raised $12 million in funding. The investor was Battery Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Battery General Partner Michael Brown will join Quinyx’s board.
Australian fintech startup Airwallex has secured $6 million in funding. The investor was Square Peg Capital.
