London-based Avnio, a provider of RFP and PreSales automation software, has raised 3 million pounds in seed funding. Felicis Ventures led the round.
London, UK –March 24, 2022– Avnio, a leading provider of RFP and PreSales automation software, has raised £3 million in seed funding led by Felicis Ventures. Avnio’s unique set of Salesforce-native solutions are designed to help companies overcome the day-to-day blockers and hurdles of the sales and marketing cycle. Avnio will use the funding to execute its go-to-market strategy of expanding into the U.S. market, as well as accelerate product innovation by building a world-class sales and marketing engine.
Founded at the onset of the pandemic in February 2020 by bootstrapped entrepreneur, Tobias Dawes, Avnio addresses the challenges businesses face with the manual tasks and effort involved in the request for proposal (RFP) and responses process, as well as the entire business workflow. Avnio reduces the time spent on RFP responses by up to 75 percent, helping companies to win more of the right new business and accelerate potential leads. With machine learning and artificial intelligence, customers can automate responses to queries in real-time and match answers from a knowledge library, enabling them to manage responses from end-to-end, without ever having to leave Salesforce.
“Despite the challenges of launching during a pandemic, Avnio has defied the odds and achieved impressive growth,” said Vivana Faga, General Partner at Felicis Ventures. “It has quickly become a leading provider in the RFP and response space, and this is testament to its unique technology portfolio, which has been built by engineers who truly understand the benefits of automation in the sales and marketing cycle. We are thrilled to help Avnio continue its growth, both in terms of product innovation and its international expansion.”
“Avnio is the missing piece of the puzzle in the sales and marketing cycle for businesses,” said Tobias Dawes, Founder and CEO at Avnio. “Having started as an idea back in 2019, to now raising £3m in funding for the next stage of our growth, Avnio has an important role to play in helping people work more efficiently by streamlining workflows and accelerating sales opportunities to sales-won. This funding signifies the next step in Avnio’s journey, and I am thankful to our investors for their confidence in the company’s technology, as well as its support in the next stage of our growth.”
