Collaborative Fund and Defy.vc lead funding in online training site Copeland

Copeland of San Francisco has now raised $7m in total funding to provide education in skilled trades and the construction industry.

San Francisco-based Copeland, a provider of online learning for the skilled trades and construction industry, announced it has raised $5 million in a seed round. The investment was led by Collaborative Fund and Defy.vc, with participation from Harrison Metal, which incubated the company. Copeland was founded in 2016 and has now raised $7 million.
