Coral Capital raises third fund for seed deals in Japan

The firm, which launched its first fund in partnership with 500 Startups, now has $275m in AUM.

Tokyo-based seed-stage investor Coral Capital announced the close of its third fund, Coral Capital III, at JPY14 billion ($128 million).

LPs include Mizuho Bank, Mitsubishi Estate, Shinsei Bank, Pavilion Capital, Founders Fund, Dai-ichi Life Insurance, GREE, and undisclosed domestic and international institutional investors.

The firm, which invests in early-stage companies in Japan, now has about $275 million in total AUM.
