Danish company Weld raises $4.6m in seed round

Frontline Ventures and Cherry Ventures invested in the all-in-one data platform.

Copenhagen-based start-up Weld, founded in January 2021, has raised $4.6 million in a seed round as it aims to open market offices in the UK and the US in first half of 2022. Frontline Ventures and Cherry Ventures invested in the company, alongside angels
Des Traynor (co-founder of Intercom) David Clarke (former chief technical officer at Workday), Phil Chambers (co-founder of Peakon) and Petr Janda (chief technical officer at Pleo).

The company, started by former Pleo employees Jonas Thordal, Jakob Skytte and Jakob Kristensen, provides an all-in-one data platform.
