Dremio scores $70m Series C

Santa Clara, California-based Dremio, a data lake engine company, has secured $70 million in Series C funding. Insight Partners led the round with participation from return backers Cisco Investments, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Norwest Venture Partners and Redpoint Ventures. In addition to the funding, Teddie Wardi, managing director at Insight Partners, will join Dremio’s board of directors.
