Enlighten has acquired Santa Cruz, California-based Cannabis Club TV, a cannabis content provider. No financial terms were disclosed. A cannabis tech company, Enlighten’s backers include Tuatara Capital LP and Arcadian New Venture Fund LP.
SANTA CRUZ, December 3, 2019 — Enlighten, a multifaceted cannabis technology company, announced today that it has acquired the media assets of leading cannabis content provider Cannabis Club TV. The acquisition further confirms recent acknowledgment from Enlighten executives that the company will now double-down on its media focus. It will strengthen its core competency as Enlighten continues to aggregate advertising inventory and offer unique audience extension capabilities unlike anything else in the cannabis industry.
Cannabis Club TV has amassed one of the most substantial libraries of licensed industry content. This over-the-top (OTT) content is broadcast to millions of cannabis consumers in dispensaries, online, and via the Cannabis Club mobile app.

Enlighten has now aggregated one of the single largest advertising mediums dedicated to reaching the highly-coveted demographic of cannabis consumers.
