Serial entrepreneur and angel investor Elad Gil has raised $300 million from 16 investors for a venture fund, according to a regulatory filing.

The filing is for Cosmic – Aleph 1 LP of San Francisco, whose general partner is listed as Cosmic Gimel 1 LLC. Gil is listed as the managing director of the general partner.

An internet search for “Cosmic – Aleph” turned up no additional information. Calls to the phone number on the filing receive an automated reply that the number is busy. Venture Capital Journal sent messages to Gil via a personal email address and LinkedIn and will update this story if he responds.

Gil co-founded genetic testing company Color Genomics in 2013 and was CEO for about three years, transitioning to board member in 2016, according to LinkedIn. His LI profile lists his current title as “Startup Helper.”
