European start-up Seqera Labs raises $5.5m in seed

Talis Capital and Speedinvest co-lead the round, which included BoxOne Ventures.

Seqera Labs, a provider of data orchestration and workflow software for life sciences, has raised $5.5 million in seed funding. The round was co-led by European firms Talis Capital and Speedinvest. Also participating are existing investor BoxOne Ventures.

The funding also includes a grant from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, founded by Mark Zuckerberg and Dr. Priscilla Chan, which supports essential open source software in science.
