Jeff Drazan last year debuted his new growth stage firm, Bertram Capital, which raised $250 million. Drazan, who co-founded Sierra Ventures, was not listed as a member of Sierra’s ninth fund last year, but he remains on the firm’s website and continues to sit on the boards of several Sierra portfolio companies.
At Bertram, which shares many of the same LPs as Sierra, Drazan focuses on U.S. health care services, industrial manufacturing and Internet companies. He co-founded the firm with his brother Ken Drazan, co-founder of venture-backed ArgiNOx Pharmaceuticals Inc.
The other investment pros at Bertram are Mike Chang (formerly of Apax Partners), Jared Ruger (formerly of Draper Fisher Jurvetson), Joe Tou (formerly of Intel Corp.) and Ryan Craig (formerly of HealthNet). —Alastair Goldfisher
