FrontdeskAI adds $2 mln of seed capital in round led by pi Ventures

FrontdeskAI said it raised an additional $2 million of seed capital in a round extension that brought its total seed funding to $4.2 million. The additional capital came in a transaction led by pi Ventures of India.

Earlier seed funding came from a $1.1 million round led by Blue Pointe Capital in June 2018 and a $1.1 million round led by Speciale Invest in November 2018.  Abishek Surendran, a partner at pi Ventures, will join the board.

FrontdeskAI is developing a software assistant targeting the wellness market to manage appointments, schedule classes and handle customer service inquiries.
