San Francisco-based Fuel Capital, an investor in Clearbit, Interana, Julep and Secret, among others, has raised $46.195 million for its second fund, according to a regulatory filing. The firm raised $25.5 million for its inaugural fund in 2013, according to Thomson Reuters.
A previous filing in June 2015 listed the target of Fuel Capital II at $35 million.
The latest filing, which indicates the commitments came from 53 investors, lists Chris Howard as the only partner of the fund. Before launching Fuel Capital, he previously was a principal at Ignition Partners, where he led that firm’s seed-stage program.
