Head of funds for Comcast Ventures announces retirement

Amy Banse will remain with the company through the end of next year as a senior advisor. As part of her move, CFO Mike Cavanagh will oversee Comcast Ventures.

Amy Banse, executive VP of Comcast and managing director and head of funds for Comcast Ventures, announced she is retiring after nearly three decades at Comcast Corporation. She will remain with the company through the end of 2021 and serve as a senior advisor. She joined Comcast in 1991 as an in-house attorney responsible for the cable company’s acquisition of programming and content.

As part of her move, Comcast said effective immediately CFO Mike Cavanagh will oversee Comcast Ventures.
