Highland Europe hires Lahoti as head of platform

Lahoti has been tasked with creating a network of C-suite advisors to Highland Europe companies who will assist founders with key areas including hiring, business development, marketing and scaling.

Highland Europe has named Abhishek Lahoti as head of platform at the London- and Geneva-based firm.

In this role, Lahoti will create a network of C-suite advisors to Highland companies who will assist founders with key areas including hiring, business development, marketing and scaling.

Lahoti is the former head of business development at Dropbox. He is also the ex-vice president of business development and head of the International Centre of Excellence at Sapphire Ventures.

On this appointment, Stan Laurent, a partner at Highland Europe, said in a statement, “I’m excited to welcome Abhishek to the Highland Europe team to turbo-charge the work we’ve always done to help our companies scale. Highland Europe invests in growth-stage software and internet companies. Highland Europe has raised over €2.75 billion and has invested in companies such as Adjust, AMCS, Camunda, ContentSquare, Descartes, Deepki, eGym, Featurespace and GetYourGuide.
