Legit Security, an Israeli cybersecurity company, has raised $40 million in Series B funding. CRV led the round with participation from existing investors Cyberstarts, Bessemer Venture Partners, and TCV.
The capital infusion will be used to expand sales, marketing and R&D. The funding will also be used to address the threat of artificial intelligence and large language models in the development of new applications.
“We were highly impressed with the Legit Security team and amazed by the breadth and depth of their Fortune 500 customers in such a short time,’ said James Green, general partner at CRV in a statement. “We fully expect the Application Security Posture Management category to forever change the established application security market.”
