Fulcrum Equity Partners, an Atlanta-based growth equity firm, has named Jason Moore as a venture partner.

In this role, Moore will work with the team to source and evaluate investment opportunities, provide strategic guidance to portfolio companies and support the management teams as they scale their companies.

Moore is the former CEO of Fulcrum portfolio company Stratasan. Prior to that, he co-founded and operated software company bigWebApps.

“We felt Jason would be the perfect addition as a venture partner because he traversed both the highs and lows of founding a company, dealing with setbacks and challenges ultimately succeeding at the end,” said Fulcrum partner Philip Lewis said in a statement. “Throughout the journey, Jason’s primary focus was on creating a metric-driven, positive culture for his team and creating successful clients, and we think that experience will be a tremendous asset to our firm.”

Based in Atlanta, Fulcrum invests in healthcare services and B2B tech companies.
