More Craziness: Startup Founder Announces He’s Leaving Startup Via Facebook “Status Update”

Evan Nisselson, the founder of Digital Railroad, a software and services company that creates applications designed to solve critical technical problems for creative professionals, just sent out the following message — in his Facebook “status update”: No longer Chairman of DRR… hopefully the company/members will land in good hands. sorry…

Here’s hoping Nisselson had “friended” DRR’s employees and clients, so they’re aware of the breaking development.

Digital Railroad has raised more than $20 million since 2003 from Morgenthaler Ventures, Venrock Associates, and DN Capital.

UPDATE: Nisselson was apparently pushed out with much of DRR’s staff this past Wednesday, after the company failed to secure “additional funding required to sustain its current level of operations.” Too bad. A little more info here.
