Octopus Ventures to launch £100m health tech fund

Managing the new health fund is a team that are coming over from TenX Health in London: Joe Stringer, Dr. Pooja Sikka and Shamik Parekh.

Multi-stage European investor Octopus Ventures this week announced its intention to launch a £100 million global fund that will target the growing health tech market. Managing the new early-stage fund will be a new health sector team at Octopus that come from London-based healthcare-focused investor TenX Health.

The team consists of Joe Stringer, Dr. Pooja Sikka and Shamik Parekh. Octopus said the team will look at the opportunity to transform public healthcare systems across Europe.
