COSTA MESA, Calif. – (August 22, 2018) – Announced today, OPKIX, the makers of the highly anticipated compact wearable smart camera with companion studio editing/sharing app, raises $11.8 million at the close of its Series B funding round and achieves a $200 million valuation. Series B saw the Orange County-based technology and lifestyle innovator raise $5.7 million in capital from private investors, bringing its total funds raised to $11.8 million. With this latest round of funding, OPKIX plans to establish itself worldwide by extending to new markets to establish itself as the leading global direct to consumer camera brand in the wearable, optics, accessories and mobile camera space; and expand mass distribution within its first year of launch.

The OPKIX ONE launches Fall 2018. The camera measures in at 14.2mm x 14.2mm x 36mm, boasts 12 minutes of record time per camera and up to 70 minutes of capture with the whole camera and egg system. The OPKIX ONE is rated IP-67 (water & dust resistant), the resolution is 1080×1080 @30fps, and the camera’s premium build is comprised of aerospace aluminum, gold, and sapphire glass.
