PlotWatt Inc., a Durham, N.C. startup that aims to help people save money on their electricity bills, has closed on $3 million in fresh capital, according to a filing with the S.E.C. Formed in 2008, the company provides personalized smart meter data analysis technology. PlotWatt raised $1 million last year in a seed financing round led by Felicis Ventures.
