Portage Fintech Acquisition, a special purpose acquisition company formed by Portage Ventures, has filed to raise up to $200 million in an initial public offering on Nasdaq.

Portage Fintech Acquisition, a special purpose acquisition company formed by Portage Ventures, has filed to raise up to $200 million in an initial public offering on Nasdaq, Renaissance Capital reported. The SPAC, which will focus on opportunities in North America’s and Europe’s financial technology sector, will command a market value of $250 million. Portage is an affiliate of Sagard Holdings, Power Corp’s alternative asset manager.
