Remitly to secure up to $115 mln Series D

Seattle-based Remitly, a digital remittance company, has agreed to raise up to $115 million in Series D funding. The lead investor will be Naspers’ fintech investment division PayU with expected participation from return backers Stripes Group, DFJ and DN Capital. In addition to the funding, Laurent le Moal, PayU CEO, will join Remitly’s board of directors.
