Resolve Systems, the most widely-deployed automation and orchestration platform for IT, network and security operations, today announced that it has named technology veteran, John Ferron, as the company’s Chief Executive Officer effective July 17th.

“John is the perfect business leader to guide Resolve Systems as the company moves through the next phase of growth,” said Michael Triplett, Managing Director at Insight Venture Partners, which owns a majority share of Resolve. “It was important that we found a leader not only with a strong software industry pedigree, but someone who had a flawless track record of helping high-growth businesses like Resolve Systems. We’re eager for John to dig in, and have full confidence that his experience and operational prowess will have an immediate impact on Resolve’s growth.”

Mr. Ferron is a seasoned, operational executive with a proved track record of building and growing successful business with a primary emphasis in software infrastructure, private equity backed companies. Mr. Ferron most recently served as an operating advisor to Clearlake Capital Group since its inception in 2006.
