Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Safar Partners filed to raise $350 million for its second fund, according to a regulatory document. The multi-stage venture firm invests primarily in technology companies out of MIT, Harvard, and the University of Rochester. Its focus area is in platform technologies in the cleantech and advanced materials, AI/IT and robotics, and life science/medical device areas.
