Sequoia Capital has led a $62 million investment in Yik Yak, the Atlanta-based anonymous messaging app, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal. The funding round values the company at between $300 million and $400 million, according to the report.
Current investors are expected to participate in the round. Sequoia’s Jim Goetz is to join the Yik Yak’s board.
