San Francisco-based Brandless, operator of an ecommerce site selling unbranded food products and consumer goods, announced it has raised $240 million in Series C funding that was led by SoftBank‘s Vision Fund. Existing investors New Enterprise Associates, Redpoint Ventures, GV and Sherpa Capital also participated in the round. Jeffrey Housenbold and Justin Wilson of SoftBank Investment Advisors have joined the board. The company, founded in July 2017, previously raised about $50 million.
