Southern Capitol Backs Golf Ecommerce Co.

Global Value Commerce, a Raleigh, N.C.-based ecommerce company focused on the golf industry, has raised an undisclosed amount of venture capital from Southern Capitol Ventures.




Southern Capitol Ventures (SCV), a North Carolina-based venture capital firm dedicated to helping outstanding entrepreneurs build market-leading companies, today announced an investment in Raleigh, N.C.-based Global Value Commerce (GVC). The proceeds will be used to accelerate the company’s growth. 


Global Value Commerce is a leading e-commerce retailer with two of the fastest growing Web sites in the golf industry, and Additionally, the company is the industry’s leader in providing specialized technology solutions to golf manufacturers, retailers and media companies as proven with the recently launched


Ben Brooks, founding partner of Southern Capitol Ventures, has joined the Global Value Commerce board of directors.
