Space software platform Mission Control lands C$3.25m in seed VC

Mission Control, an Ottawa-based provider of advanced software solutions for use in space, has held an initial close of C$3.25 million in seed financing. GreenSky Ventures led the round.

The deal brings Mission Control’s total equity and non-dilutive funding to more than C$10.5 million.

Using Mission Control’s Spacefarer platform, customers can simplify mission development and operations while unlocking the potential of new scientific and commercial opportunities on the Earth, Moon, Mars and beyond. The technology is used by mission controllers, scientists and software developers.

Mission Control will used the funds raised to further advance its Spacefarer platform.

Mission Control has previously worked on Canadian Space Agency, Department of National Defense and NASA programs, and graduated from the University of Toronto Creative Destruction Lab’s inaugural Space Stream.
