Early-stage investor Speedinvest has announce an €80 million (US $90.6 million) Climate & Industry Opportunity fund to primarily support its existing sustainability-oriented start-ups. The fund will also back non-portfolio start-ups focused on European industry’s efforts to digitize and decarbonize, the firm said. Speedinvest said it has already invested in two follow-on rounds from the fund, including a €40 million Series B round in mid-November in Packhelp, a Warsaw-based bespoke packaging platform.
