Spiceology raises $4.7m

Spiceology in Spokane, Washington raises $4.7m in Series A financing, led by retail and grocery executive Ty Bennett.

Spokane, Washington-based Spiceology, which offers more than 300 spices, herbs, salts, chilis and other ingredients, has raised a $4.7 million round of financing. Retail and grocery executive Ty Bennett led the round, which included participation by the Cowles Company, Kickstart Funds III & IV and additional individual investors. The company was founded in 2013.
