San Francisco-based Front, a software company aiming to redefine the email inbox for work, has raised $59 million in a Series C round of financing. The round was led by several tech executives, including Atlassian co-CEO and co-founder Mike Cannon-Brookes; Atlassian President Jay Simons; Okta executive vice chairman, COO and co-founder Frederic Kerrest; Qualtrics co-founder and CEO Ryan Smith; Qualtrics co-founder and CTO Jared Smith; and Zoom CEO Eric Yuan. Sequoia Capital, Initialized Capital, Anthos Capital and other existing investors are also participating in the funding. The company was founded in 2013, raised $66 million two years ago and says the latest funding more than quadruples the company’s previous valuation, which was not disclosed.
