Career Path: Tom Bredt is a general partner with Menlo Ventures, which he joined in 1986. Previously, he was Senior Vice President and Director of the Information Systems Group at Dataquest Inc. Prior to Dataquest, he worked for the Hewlett-Packard Co. as an engineering manager in the computer systems, manufacturing applications and data communications groups. Tom also worked for Bell Laboratories and was a member of the Electrical Engineering faculty at Stanford University.
