Tri Ri Asset Management unveils $125m venture fund

Tri Ri Asset Impact Fund has made a commitment of $50 million to TRAM VF.

Tri Ri Asset Management, a real estate developer, has launched its first venture fund, TRAM VF, targeting $125 million. The fund has held a first close on $92 million, including a $50 million anchor commitment from Tri Ri Asset Impact Fund.

TRAM VF is focused on later-stage tech companies in Pakistan and in the MENA region.

“Following the successful launch of our PE Impact fund last year, we are pleased to announce the launch of our Flagship VC Fund TRAM VF and its initial closure of $92 million,” TRAM VF general partner Adeel Hussain said in a statement. “A particular thanks to our anchor investor, as well as the LP a Swiss family office, whose commitment demonstrates how ripe the region is for VC investments.”
