True Ventures adds O’Donnell McCarthy as principal

Fiona O'Donnell McCarthy joins True as a principal, after having previously worked at direct-to-consumer food company Daily Harvest.

Fiona O’Donnell McCarthy is the latest new principal at True Ventures, which has bulked up its team in recent months, the firm told Venture Capital Journal.

O’Donnell McCarthy was most recently vice president of product for direct-to-consumer food company Daily Harvest. Before that, she was with mobile product development agency Prolific Interactive.

She’s also served in stints at women’s fashion e-tailer ModCloth and mobile-focused SaaS commerce platform Handshake.

She began working at True last week.

The addition of O’Donnell McCarthy comes as the firm has announced other additions in recent months, including Boston investor and entrepreneur Dave Balter as a venture partner.

And in March, Ariel Winton joined the firm’s investment team as a principal.
