Ulu Ventures adds venture partner

David White, an executive, strategic adviser and board member at various entertainment and financial organizations, has joined Ulu Ventures.

Palo Alto, California-based Ulu Ventures, which earlier this year raised $138 million for its third fund, announced David White has joined the firm as a venture partner.

White is a strategy advisor to USC’s Center for the Digital Future, an independent director for the global consulting firm RGP, and a board member of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.

He previously was co-founder and managing principal of Los Angeles-based Entertainment Strategies Group and was a labor and employment attorney at O’Melveny & Myers.
