LOS ANGELES (May 7, 2020) – Vantage Point, the leading VR training platform for Harassment and Bias, is gaining traction despite COVID-19: Vantage Point closed it’s Seed funding round last week, has evolved to meet companies in the brave new Wide World of ‘WFH’, and continues to expand its client base through the pandemic.
Vantage Point’s clientele include Fortune 500s, Public Companies, and Startups, with well-known names like OECD, Kuehne & Nagel, and Google. .0006% of VC funding goes towards Black Women. Vantage Point’s founder, a solo minority female founder, is one of the only 2 dozen black women to have raised over $1M in funding.
Vantage Point’s founder, Morgan Mercer, has raised ~$4M in 1.5 years, including the new Seed funding round they just closed last week.
Vantage Point’s newest investors in this round include the Trilogy Founding Team (exited to 2U for $250M in 2019), HTC, George Hornig (former COO of Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse) amongst a roster of other impressive names.
Vantage Point’s existing investors include Village Global (LPs include Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, and Mike Bloomberg), Josh Resnic (sold Pandemic to EA Games for $900M), and others. Vantage Point’s newest advisors include Melinda Wolfe, the former CHRO and CDO of Pearson, Bloomberg, GLG, and more.
