

Silicon Valley-based Snowflake, a cloud software company, has filed to go public, reported CNBC. The media outlet noted that the listing was filed after company “revenue more than doubled in the first half of the year to $242 million.” Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley are the lead underwriters. Snowflake is planning on trading the stock on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “SNOW.” Snowflake’s backers include Sutter Hill Ventures, Altimeter, ICONIQ, Redpoint Ventures and Sequoia.
