VMware will be acquiring Lehi, Utah-based SaltStack, a software automation vendor, according to a blog post. No financial terms were disclosed. SaltStack’s backers include Mercato Partners, Epic Ventures, Peak Capital, Deep Fork Capital, Album VC and BYU Cougar Capital.
