Palo Alto, California-based Workera, which operates a skills transformation platform, announced it has raised $5 million in seed funding led by Owl Ventures and AI Fund. Plug and Play Ventures also participated in the round.
The company was founded last year by Kian Katanforoosh, a Stanford University lecturer on computer science, and James Lee, former vice president of global operations at Udacity.
