Altman steps down as president of Y Combinator

Y Combinator announced last week that Sam Altman will step down as president and transition to a new role as chairman. Y Combinator said his duties as president will shift to other partners. In his new role, Altman will spend more time focusing on the nonprofit OpenAI and other pursuits. In addition, the incubator said that it’s looking for space to move its headquarters and demo days to San Francisco from Mountain View, California.
