Particle, a internet of things platform, has raised $40 million in Series C funding. Qualcomm Ventures LLC and Energy Impact Partners led the round with participation from other investors that included Root Ventures, Bonfire Ventures, Industry Ventures, Spark Capital, Green D Ventures, Counterpart Ventures and SOSV.

CI Financial Corp is making an investment in Toronto-based fintech firm d1g1t Inc. No financial terms were disclosed. The capital will be used for product innovation and commercial expansion. Last year, d1g1t secured Series A funding from Purpose Financial, which is backed by OMERS Platform Investments.
Belmont, California-based Ruti, a tech-savvy fashion brand, has raised $6 million in Series A funding. Viola Ventures led the round.
Boulder, Colorado-based Link3D, a provider of additive MES workflow software, has secured $7 million in funding. AI Capital led the round.
Tactile Mobility, an Israeli auto tech firm, has secured $9 million in funding, reported Reuters. The investors included Porsche and Union Tech Ventures. The capital infusion will be used for product development and marketing operations expansion.
