Bicameral Ventures has made an investment in Balance, a fintech startup. No financial terms were disclosed.

Metropolis Technologies Inc., a Los Angeles-based mobility startup focused on building integrated networks to enable the future of mobility, raised $17.5 million in seed funding, according to a spokesperson for Metropolis. Zigg Capital led the round with participation from Slow Ventures and RXR Realty.

Inbox Health Inc, a digital health and fintech startup, has raised $1.87 million in funding. Connecticut Innovations led the round with participation from other backers that included Metropolis Ventures, I2BF Global Ventures and StartUp Health.

New York-based Aurate, a fine jewelry brand, has secured $13 million in Series A funding. Bluecrest Capital led the round.

San Mateo, California-based Cobalt Robotics, a builder of indoor autonomous robots, has secured $35 million in Series B funding. The company's investors include Bloomberg Beta, Sequoia Capital and Coatue,

Creative Group, a Dutch e-voucher website, has secured 22 million euros in funding. The investor was Prime Ventures.

Seattle-based SoundCommerce, a data platform provider, has secured $6.5 million in seed funding. Defy Partners led the round.

Israel-based DayTwo, a microbiome human discovery platform, has secured $31 million in Series B financing. The lead investors were aMoon and Ofek Ventures.

Forterro, which is backed by Battery Ventures, has agreed to acquire Abas Software, a German ERP vendor. No financial terms were disclosed.

South Africa-based Lulalend, an online automated provider of short-term funding for small and medium businesses, has secured $6.5 million in Series A financing. IFC and Quona Capital led the round.
