This latest round of financing brings FigBytes’ total funding to date to $25 million.
The original Series A round was announced earlier this year at an initial C$9.5 million, led by Inovia Capital with participation from White Star Capital and Luge Capital.
As part of the commitment, AFF plans to build a frontier technology venture studio, called Roadrunner Studios, in Albuquerque.
Edison Partners led the round with participation from existing investor Forgepoint Capital.
Fin Venture Capital led the round with participation from Mastercard, Proof Ventures, Trestle, and Espresso Capital.
Zero Infinity Partners provided the equity investment while FirePower Capital and PaceZero Capital Partners provided a term debt facility.
Based in Montreal, RailVision Analytics is a software startup that helps the railway industry reduce its fuel consumption and lower greenhouse gas emissions.
The round was led by Conexus Venture Capital, including C$2 million from the firm's agriculture technology-focused Emmertech fund.
The company will use the loan proceeds for general corporate and working capital purposes.
The loan follows Emma's C$6 million Series A financing, closed earlier this year with the backing of Luge Capital, Investissement Québec and Tactico.
