Blockchain Founders Fund ups Bauer to partner

Blockchain Founders Fund has promoted Tobias Bauer to partner.

In his new role, Bauer will continue to work closely with management in identifying high growth potential pre-seed and seed stage web3 and blockchain startups.

Prior to joining Blockchain Founders Fund, Bauer worked in China on the investment team of Orbit Startups (formerly Chinaccelerator). He joined the Blockchain Founders Fund in December 2019 as an intern and has been given multiple promotions from associate to principal and now partner.

On Bauer’s new appointment, Aly Madhavji, a managing partner of Blockchain Founders Fund, said in a statement, “Tobi has brought extensive value to the fund in all aspects and we couldn’t be more proud to have him as a partner in the fund.
