Boston-based Companyon Ventures, which invests in post-seed, pre-Series A B2B software companies, has raised $27.5 million for its second fund, the firm told Venture Capital Journal.
The firm said last week that it closed the fund midway through the second quarter and has already begun investing from it. Its initial investments from Fund II recently announcing expansion rounds including RoadSync, which raised a $30 million Series B led by Tiger Global and Apty, which raised an $8 million Series A led by 645 Ventures.
The firm didn’t identify LPs, but Companyon said they include wealth managers, family offices and high net worth individuals.
