Cloud company Macrometa raises $7m in seed

Macrometa in Palo Alto, California raises $7m in seed led by DNX Ventures. Benhamou Global Ventures, Partech Partners, Fusion Fund, Sway Ventures, Velar Capital and Shasta Ventures also participated.

Palo Alto, California-based Macrometa, an edge computing company enabling web and cloud native developers, announced it raised $7 million in seed funding. The round was led by DNX Ventures, with participation from existing investors Benhamou Global Ventures, Partech Partners, Fusion Fund, Sway Ventures, Velar Capital and Shasta Ventures.

Macrometa also added former Auth0 and xnor.ai CEO Jon Gelsey, and cybersecurity expert Rob Fry, to its board.
