Cybersecurity start-up Traceable launches, headed up by Jyoti Bansal

Traceable emerged from stealth with $20m in funding from Unusual Ventures and BIG Labs.

San Francisco-based Traceable, developer of an end-to-end application security monitoring platform, emerged from stealth today and announced it raised $20 million in Series A funding from Unusual Ventures and BIG Labs. The company is led by CEO and co-founder Jyoti Bansal and co-founder and CTO Sanjay Nagaraj. Bansal previously founded AppDynamics, where Nagaraj was vice president of engineering. Bansal is also co-founder of Unusual Ventures. Traceable was spun out of BIG Labs, Bansal’s startup studio.
